M40x3 fine thread hand taps
Hand tapsM40x3 fine-coil HSS - high quality hand taps, designed for cutting metric fine-coil threads, M40 x 3, with an angle of 60 degrees, ISO DIN-13. They are suitable for threading through-holes and blind holes. Threading is carried out in two stages, using both threaders included in the set (ripper, finisher). The M40x3 fine-coil manual threaders we offer are manufactured according to ISO 529 standard from modern HSS (High Speed Steel). This is a tool steel with increased cutting properties, increasing the strength of tools to withstand harsh machining conditions and also increasing the resistance of thread taps' blades to any mechanical damage (fractures, chipping, chipping, cracking). M40x3 hand taps are used for cutting threads in materials marked P1.2-P1.3 (metals, unalloyed steel), non-ferrous metals (copper, aluminum) and metal alloys giving short chips (brass, bronze). The tolerance field of the threads made is ISO-2 (6H).
