Hand tapping M14 3 piece
Hand tapsM14 HSS - high quality set of three professional taps. The set includes a pre-threading threader with an 8P nut, a proper threader with a 4P nut and a finishing threader with a 2P nut. The tools are made of special HSS high speed tool steel. This is a material with unique properties that make the threaders extremely durable and resistant to damage during operation (breakage, cracking). Thanks to HSS, they also provide high cutting performance and precision. M14 hand taps are used for cutting standard M14, ISO DIN-13 metric threads with an angle of 60 degrees. They are designed for machining materials of categories P1.2 - P1.3, i.e. m.in. metals, non-ferrous metals and their alloys (copper, aluminum, bronze) and also for hard plastics. The tolerance field of the threads made is ISO-2 (6H), and the taps comply with ISO 529.
