They are designed for cutting ordinary metric threads, type M diameter 18, left-hand (LH), with an angle of 60 degrees, through and blind, ISO DIN-13. They are suitable for machining materials marked with the symbol P1.2 - P1.3. These include unalloyed steels (carbon), metals, non-ferrous metals (copper, aluminum), metal alloys (brass, bronze) and also hard plastics. The biggest advantage of taps is that they are made of modern HSS - High Speed Steel. This is a unique material that results in increased machining efficiency and increased precision of cut threads. In addition, HSS steel also increases the resistance of the thread taps' blade to possible damage occurring during the machining of hard and difficult-to-machine materials. M18 left hand taps are in accordance with DIN 352, and the tolerance field is ISO 2(6H).
