Morse 20 taper burr. This is a cylindrical spindle milling cutter with L-30 degree torsion blades. Between the blades are located chip grooves, the purpose of which is to drain the chips outside the tool. This function is extremely important, since clogging the grooves during machining can threaten the cutting part of the cutter to break off, or even damage the tool completely. The milling cutters in question have a Morse taper shank and a correspondingly tapped hole, which is used to easily mount the tool with a draw screw to the spindle of the milling machine. Morse 20 taper burrs are recommended for machining hard unalloyed and alloyed steels, metals and their alloys, as well as gray, malleable and ductile cast iron. Their advantage is high hardness and durability, as well as increased resistance to any mechanical damage.
