It is a drill bit with ground edges and a tip angle of 118 degrees. It allows precise drilling, thanks to the ground spiral, fast chip evacuation and making chips with low roughness. The 1,2 cobalt cylindrical metal drill in question complies with the DIN 338 dimensional standard, and is used for drilling in alloy steel, cast iron, cast steel, stainless steel, heat-resistant steel and acid-resistant steel. The drill bits we offer are made of special high-alloyed high-speed steel with a 5% addition of cobalt. Such a solution improves the hardness of the drill bit and ensures its longer service life. In addition, the advantages of this type of drills also include the ability to cut at high speed, at high temperature and resistance to mechanical damage to the blades. They can be used with lathes, drills, milling machines and CNC machine tools.
