It has 2 central blades, an apex angle of 118 degrees, strong ground cutting edges and special grooves for the discharge of chips up the drilled hole. The specific design of the drills makes them resistant to impact and lateral forces, and the cutting properties are also enhanced by the properties of HSS high-speed steel, from which the drills are made. Thanks to it, the long drills for metal 9,2 are able to withstand harsh working conditions, including the high temperature created when drilling at high speed. Even under the influence of strong thermal shocks, their blades are resistant to abrasion, breakage, cracking, chipping and dulling. The drills are suitable for drilling holes in materials such as unalloyed steels, metals, nonferrous metals, thermoplastics. They can be used for conventional drilling machines, milling and turning machines, and modern CNC computer-controlled machine tools.
