High-quality long drill bit for metal 8 with smooth cylindrical chuck, made according to the standards provided for the dimensional standard NWKb, DIN 340. It has two central blades, a tip angle of 118 degrees, special chip grooves for removal of chips from the drilled hole and strong cutting edges insensitive to impact and lateral forces. The long metal drills we offer fi 8 NWKb are made entirely by grinding method from special HSS-E high-speed steel with cobalt (5%). This is a modern tool steel, the cutting properties of which significantly exceed those of conventional steels. First of all, tools made from it are characterized by increased hardness durability and wear resistance. As a result, drills made from it guarantee much higher productivity and reduced working time. They maintain high cutting properties, allow work in harsh conditions, and their blades are resistant to any mechanical damage. The high hardness of cobalt high-speed steel makes it possible to machine alloy steels, stainless steel, acid-resistant steel, heat-resistant steel, cast iron, cast steel and other materials.
