Die UNF 5/8-18 HSS – a durable tool for fine threads
UNF 5/8-18 die is used to cut external threads with a diameter of 5/8 inch (15.88 mm) and 18 threads per inch. The UNF (Unified National Fine) fine-thread standard offers as many as 64% more threads than its UNC 5/8-11 counterpart, providing significantly higher load capacity and excellent vibration resistance. HSS steel construction ensures durability when machining materials up to 800 MPa.
