Professional die NPT 1-11.1/2 designed for cutting American tapered pipe threads. It is suitable for manual and machine threading. The thread is completely cut in the first working pass, after less than two turns. The inch-tube threads offered in our store die are made in accordance with the dimensional standard DIN-24230 from special high-grade molybdenum steel of HSS (High Speed Steel) grade. This is a special high-speed steel that allows very good cutting parameters. Above all, our die are suitable for high-performance and very fine threading. They allow threading at high speed, during which a high temperature is generated - up to 600 degrees C. The blades of the threading dies are resistant to all mechanical damage, including breaking, cracking, chipping chipping. The high hardness and durability of the threading dies allow better use of the workstations at hand and reduce overall machining costs.
