Core hole drill 60 mm HSS short is a powerful and precise fi 60 mm HSS tubular drill bit, designed for drilling holes in structural steels, stainless steels and non-ferrous alloys. Thanks to its trepanning geometry, the tool removes material only from the perimeter of the hole, which significantly increases the efficiency of the drilling process and reduces the amount of chips produced.
High-grade HSS high-speed steel guarantees resistance to intensive mechanical and thermal loads, which ensures long tool life. The shorter design provides greater rigidity, which translates into precise guidance and high stability during drilling. The drill has a ¾" Weldon shank, which allows it to work directly with magnet drills. The adapter allows the tool to be used also in lathes and milling machines with fi 18 mm chuck.
