Core hole drill 16 mm HSS short is a robust cutting tool designed for drilling holes in structural steels, stainless steels and non-ferrous alloys. Thanks to its trepanning geometry, the tool removes material only at the periphery, which increases the machining speed and reduces the amount of chips in the cutting zone.
The tool's short design provides increased rigidity, which translates into high drilling quality, reduced vibration and longer tool life. The fi 16 mm tubular drill bit is made of durable HSS high-speed steel, which is resistant to abrasion and heat loads. The standard ¾" Weldon shank makes it possible to work in magnet drills, and with the use of an adapter - also in milling machines and lathes with fi 18 mm chuck.
