This is a multi-sharpened insert designed for lathe knives such as hR. 171-36, PTNNR. It has the following technical data: side length l - 22,0 mm, insert thickness s - 4,76 mm, corner radius re - 0,8 mm. The special grade S30 used in the production of inserts is designed for medium-precision and coarse machining of steel and cast steel at medium and low cutting speeds and large cross sections of the cut layer in difficult machining conditions.
