MPHT 080305 DM H6018 Horn is a precision-made milling insert designed for use in folding cutters, especially disc cutters. Thanks to its optimized DM-type geometry, the tool offers exceptionally light cutting with reduced cutting forces, resulting in high process stability and increased tool life. Carbide insert is coated with a state-of-the-art H6018 coating, specially developed for the harsh conditions of steel and stainless steel machining, guaranteeing increased wear resistance and extended tool life.
The optimized shape and rake angles allow for very good workpiece surface quality and effective chip evacuation, even when operating at elevated cutting parameters. MPHT 080305 DM H6018 Horn is ideal for series production, where reliability and repeatability are key.
