Description

A 1 3/8-6 BSW inch Whitworth thread cutter for cutting external threads. Threads of this type are used for pipe connections in installations and fittings. Whitworth dies offered to you in our store are produced from modern HSS high-speed steel according to the dimensional standard DIN-EN 22568. They are characterized by long service life, the ability to work in harsh conditions and resistance to abrasion under high temperatures - up to 600 degrees C. The blades of the dies show durability and hardness, as well as resistance to any mechanical damage such as fractures, cracks, splits, chipping, breakage and others. They are suitable for machining hard and hard-to-machine materials of P1.2 class - P1.3. These include unalloyed steels, metals, non-ferrous metals, metal alloys and thermoset plastics. The dies are designed for professional machining, in small locksmith workshops and large manufacturing plants.
