Modern 22,5x4 shaped shank m illing cutter, according to the Polish standard NRFh,with dimensions 22,5x4 ( working outer diameter 22,5 mm and thickness of the working part 4 mm). The cutter is in accordance with DIN 850 A - it has straight blades. It is manufactured from modern HSS (High Speed Steel). It is distinguished by its increased strength to withstand very heavy cutting conditions, as well as increased ductility and hardness. Cutters of this type are designed for making shuttle grooves, or Woodruff grooves. They are suitable for simultaneous machining of two planes and also for milling of one plane. Their advantage is the ability to cut even very hard and hard-to-machine materials of the P1.2 class - P1.3. These include unalloyed steels, alloy steels, metals, non-ferrous metals and their alloys, as well as thermally hardened plastics. The cutters are designed for various types of machine tools, including both conventional and CNC machines.
