Turning tool S16 SSSCR 09 is a professional turning tool boring bar for internal turning, designed for CCMT 09T3rr inserts (rr - corner radius). The 45-degree angle defines the shaping possibilities: 45-degree chamfer, 45-degree undercut, profiling and safe access to the bottom of the hole. Right-hand execution (R) means feed from right to left with standard spindle direction.
Turning tool S16 SSSCR 09 works with CCMT 09T3 inserts with a C-shape (80-degree corner angle) and a C-angle of 7 degrees. The center bolt fastening ensures repeatable fixation and quick replacement, and the fi 16 mm shank guarantees rigidity. Rule of thumb for overhang selection: maximum overhang length = 4 x shank diameter; example: fi 16 mm is 64 mm. CCMT 09T carbide insert mounting is available for steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum and CBN tipped inserts.
