Pointed boring knife for 10x10 steel
Modern pointed boring knife type NNWb, size 10x10 - designed for professional undercutting and blind boring. This is a pointed boring knife with a carbide brazed insert grade S20/P20. It is a grade designed for machining steel, cast steel and malleable iron. The pointed boring knives we offer can be used for fine and medium precision cutting at sufficiently high cutting speeds and moderate feeds. They are suitable for both conventional machine tools (milling machines and lathes) and modern CNC (computerized numerical control) machines. The 10x10 lathe knives for steel are characterized by higher resistance to severe cutting conditions, including resistance to abrasion under the influence of high temperatures generated during high-speed cutting. The knives are also very hard and characterized by long service life.
