Straight boring knife 16x16 for steel
Professional turning tool straight boring bar, type NNWa, size 16x16, in accordance with the dimensional standard ISO 8, DIN 4873. It is turning tool with a brazed insert of carbide grade S20/P20. It is a type of carbide designed used for machining materials that give a long chip, mainly steel, cast steel, malleable iron. Thanks to the properties of carbides, the straight boring knives we offer are suitable for fine and medium precision machining, with sufficiently high cutting speeds and moderate feeds. Continuous and interrupted cutting is also possible, with medium rigidity of the machine tool - workpiece - tool system. Straight boring knives in our offer are dedicated to both individual customers and large manufacturing plants. They are characterized by increased resistance to very heavy cutting conditions, including high temperatures generated during high-speed machining. The knives are designed for conventional and numerical control machine tools.
