The 16 ER 1.25 ISO VK2P thread turning insert is a full metric profile tool made of VK2P grade carbide for threading with a pitch of 1.25 mm. The insert for right-hand external metric thread s with complete ISO outline performs M8 threads and fine threads M10x1.25, M12x1.25, M14x1.25 and all others with this pitch parameter. The tool cuts a full 60-degree thread profile including the vertices and outer diameter alignment eliminating the need for additional finishing operations. The VK2P carbide grade is characterized by high wear resistance and stability of the cutting process when threading steel parts on a conventional and CNC lathe.
