Morse 18 taper burr for stainless steel
Morse 18 taper burr is designed for finishing, semi-finishing and roughing operations. It is a cylindrical face milling cutter, also commonly known as a finger milling cutter. It conforms to the DIN 845 BKN standard. It has a Morse taper shank, torsion blades with an angle of 30 degrees. Between the blades there are special chip grooves designed for efficient removal of chips outside the tool. This avoids the risk of clogging the grooves during machining and damaging the tool. Morse 18 taper burrs in our store are made of high-quality HSS-E high-speed steel - with the addition of 5% cobalt. Such a composition of steel increases the hardness and durability of the tools, increases their resistance to harsh cutting conditions and allows machining of hard-to-machine materials: alloy steels, stainless steel, acid- and heat-resistant steel, cast steel and various types of cast iron.
