The M27x1 long machine threaders we offer are made of modern HSS - High Speed Steel. This is an exceptional tool steel characterized by high strength for heavy cutting conditions. Taps are resistant to possible mechanical damage, such as fractures, cracks, chipping, dulling. This feature affects the extension of the service life of taps, which is particularly important for the possibility of reducing the overall cost of machining. Taps of this type are suitable for high-performance cutting - at high speed. The blades of the taps are resistant to abrasion under the action of high temperatures (up to 600 degrees C) created when tapping at high speeds.
