They are made of special HSS - High Speed Steel. Machining tools made of this steel are much more resistant to heavy cutting conditions than tools made of conventional tool steel. First of all, they are distinguished by high resistance to damage to the blade (breaking, cracking, blunting, breaking out, chipping). They are also resistant to abrasion under the influence of high temperatures generated during high-speed machining.
