External fixed fang 8712-MK-2 DIN 228 with cone angle of 60 degrees with steel tip. Made of N11E tool steel and ŁH15 bearing steel.
The fixed fang consists of a working part (60 degree taper), a cylindrical part and a shank. Fixed taps are used at low speeds.
