This is a set of machine taps for professional toolmakers consisting of renowned Czech-made through-hole taps from Narex.
The set includes taps for blind holes such as:
- Tapping DIN-371-C torsion ISO2 (6H) HSSE- M3, M4, M5, M6, M8, M10
DIN-371 - this is the standard for taps with a reinforced shank (thicker) than the working part.
B-nut - this is a through-hole tapping nut that has a chipbreaker on the face of the tapping tool, which pushes the chips down the hole, so that clogging of the chip grooves and damage to the tapping tool in the hole is eliminated.
ISO2 6H - this is the tolerance of the achievable metric thread. It is a standard standard to ensure proper compatibility with other threaded parts.
HSSE - cobalt high speed steel 5% - cobalt. This is Fanar's 800 series product line, that is, they provide high performance with materials not exceeding tensile strength Rm=800 MPa.
The whole set of machine taps with M3-M10 blind drills is packed in a steel case 110x150x30 mm.
