Shank cutter 18 for stainless steel 2 flute for grooves

The modern 2 flute stainless steel 18 shank groove milling cutter for grooves, double-edged, NFPg with a diameter of 18 mm, made according to the dimensional standard DIN 327. It is mainly designed for making grooves for grooves. It is suitable for medium fine and coarse machining. It has 2 central cylindrical-front blades with an angle of 25 degrees.

The blades allow the cutter to plunge vertically into the workpiece. Thanks to the specific design (short shank), maximum rigidity of the cutter is ensured. Machining requiring a small overhang is also possible. NFPg milling cutters are available in two versions: for smooth cylindrical shank DIN 1935A and cylindrical shank with Weldon flattening DIN 1835B. The 18 burrs we offer are manufactured from modern high speed steel HSS (High Speed Steel). It is a steel that influences the increase of cutting efficiency, makes it possible to machine very hard and hard-to-machine materials, and improves the quality of cutting.
