Drill 1,6 mm cobalt HSSE Inox. Professional cobalt Inox DIN 338 twist drill bit with smooth cylindrical shank. The drill is designed for drilling through-holes and blind holes with a section of 1.6 mm. It is manufactured from modern high-grade cobalt HSSE high-speed steel. The addition of cobalt - about 5% improves the cutting properties of the drill bit and, at the same time, increases its resistance to high temperatures generated during drilling and other harsh working conditions. The 1,6 cobalt metal drill bit we offer allows drilling holes in very hard and hard-to-machine materials, such as alloy steels, acid-resistant steels, stainless steels, heat-resistant steels, as well as ductile and gray cast iron and cast steel. HSSE cobalt steel cylindrical drills allow very precise drilling, and the holes produced have low roughness. The drills have two ground center blades, a 118-degree blade angle and special grooves to guide excess cut material up the hole. They are suitable for professional machining using drills, milling machines and lathes, as well as computer-controlled machine tools.
