Drill fi 14 on Morsea taper for hardened steel

Drill fi14 for Hardox hardened steel on Morse taper with brazed carbide insert designed for drilling in Hardox HBW 400/450/500 sheets and sections, as well as in hard-to-machine steels. The 118-degree tip geometry ensures secure centering, and the Morse taper shank guarantees high rigidity of the connection to the spindle and secure torque transfer.

The steel body works with a VHM insert with high wear resistance. With a diameter of 14 mm, it is possible to make mounting and process holes while maintaining stable edge geometry. Smooth-profile chip grooves promote chip evacuation, while recommended external cooling reduces heat build-up and extends blade life in Hardox machining conditions.
