Drill 17,75 mm HSS. High-quality cylindrical, twist drill bit with ground edges designed for drilling holes of 17,75 mm. The drill has a tip angle of 118 degrees, two central blades and specially ground cutting edges resistant to impact and lateral forces. The drills of this type are made according to the NWKa, DIN 338 dimensional standard, and are produced from modern HSS high-speed steel. This is a specialized tool steel characterized by exceptional cutting properties. Compared with conventional tool steel, HSS affects higher machining efficiency, better drilling precision and the ability to cut very hard and hard-to-machine materials. In addition, the 17.75 mm metaldrill bits we offer are resistant to abrasion even at the high temperatures generated during high-speed machining.
