Carbide insert TPUN 160312 lathe, multi-tool, triangular bevel, without chipbreaker, made of tungsten carbide H10,twy manufactured by the Polish company Baildonit. It is a TPUN 160312 multicutting lathe insert with the following dimensions: side length l - 16.5 mm, insert thickness s - 3.18 mm, corner radius re - 1.2 mm. It is suitable for cutting hard and tough materials. The special grade of tungsten carbide H10 used in the production of inserts is characterized by increased cutting capabilities. It is suitable for fine and medium precision machining, all grades of cast iron, alloy steels, austenitic steels and non-ferrous alloys, as well as non-metallic materials that yield short chips. It is an uncoated grade, distinguished by very high hardness and resistance to abrasive wear. It retains its properties even when exposed to high temperatures of 700 - 1000 degrees C.
