Carbide insert for threading 22 ER 4 ISO HTA Horn is a specialized turning tool designed for turning metric threads with a 60-degree triangular profile in accordance with the ISO standard. Thanks to its full profile with a pitch of 4 mm, the insert allows precise cutting of both ordinary metric threads (M) and fine threads (MF).
Carbide insert it is made of high-quality HTA grade carbide, which is characterized by wear resistance and stability in machining a wide range of materials - from carbon and alloy steels, through cast iron, to stainless steels and non-ferrous metals. The protective coating ensures longer life and high quality of the resulting thread.
22 ER 4 ISO HTA Horn fits lathe cutters with a 22 mm socket, such as SER 20x20 22, SER 25x25 22, SER 32x32 22 and SER 40x40 22. Fastening is carried out with a Torx M4x16 screw, which ensures a secure and stable seating of the insert in the socket and safe operation under high loads.
