Machine Tap M26x1.5 DIN 374 R40 C HSSE is a precision cutting tool designed for cutting fine metric threads in blind holes. Made from HSSE cobalt high speed steel, it provides high wear resistance and longer tool life, especially when machining difficult-to-cut materials.
Compliance with DIN 374 and a winding with a 40° twist make the tapping tool ideal for blind holes - it efficiently discharges the chips upwards, minimizing the risk of their jamming and damaging the thread. The tool is used in the machining of structural steel, stainless steel and cast iron.
The shorter working type (designation C) allows work in confined spaces and makes the tool easier to operate on CNC and conventional machines.
