M11x1 fine thread hand taps
Hand Tap M11X1 DIN 2181/2 6H HSS is designed for making M11 fine-twist metric threads with a pitch of one millimeter in structural steels up to eight hundred mega pascals. The two-part working arrangement - an inserting and finishing part - ensures an even cutting pattern, dampens torque fluctuations and facilitates the maintenance of a class six H fit.
Technical data: nominal diameter eleven millimeters; stroke one millimeter; outline sixty degrees according to ISO 68-1; bore tolerance class 6H according to ISO 965; right-hand thread; straight chip grooves allow predictable evacuation. HSS high speed steel in precision grinding maintains surface smoothness and reduces the risk of micro chipping. In accordance with DIN 2181/2, the process is carried out in two stages, and the organization of successive passes is facilitated by Set Taps Manual M11x1. Recommended drill bit for the thread: ten millimeter; the use of coolant in the form of emulsion or active oil increases the durability of the blades and improves the quality of the coil bottom finish.
