Precision long metal drill 5,3 with smooth cylindrical shank intended for drilling through-holes and blind holes in very hard materials classified as P1.2 - P1.3. These include unalloyed steels, metals, sheets, metal alloys, non-ferrous metals and plastics. The offered long drills for metal 5.3 have 2 central blades, a tip angle of 118 degrees, special chip grooves for efficient chip removal up the drilled hole, and strong ground cutting edges insensitive to impact and lateral forces. The drills are manufactured according to the NWKb, DIN 340 dimensional standard entirely from special molybdenum HSS. Thanks to it, the drills are characterized by the possibility of high-performance drilling with a cutting speed of up to 50m/s. In addition, the drills are characterized by high hardness and wear resistance, even at temperatures up to 600 degrees C. The drill blades are resistant to mechanical damage and maintain high drilling precision. The drills are designed for standard and CNC machine tools.
