It has 2 central blades, a tip angle of 118 degrees, strong ground cutting edges and also spiral chip grooves for efficient chip evacuation up the drilled hole. Long metal drill 10,4 of this type are made of molybdenum HSS - High Speed Steel. This is a modern tool steel, which has very high cutting properties. Cylindrical drills made from it are very hard, durable and resistant to harsh cutting conditions. They are not subject to mechanical damage and are insensitive to the high temperatures generated when drilling at high speed. They are suitable for professional use with conventional drills, lathes, milling machines and CNC-controlled machine tools.
