In order to make an accurate measurement, it is necessary to set up a reference measurement beforehand. To do this, it is necessary to set the "0" position on the dial, and then measure the deviation from the reference value. Dial sensors 0-1 0,001 for lathe, milling machine are designed for quick measurements: height, runout and other dimensions. Dial sensors in the offer of our store are mounted in magnetic articulated tripods, two-point diameter gauges and special dial sensor bases. In exceptional situations it is possible to use dial sensors with a magnetic tripod for positioning workpieces in the machine. In such a situation, the magnetic tripod should be attached to the moving part of the spindle, and by making a rotary motion, we check the greatest swing of the pointer. After recording the X and Y positions from the spindle, we take a measurement from the other side of the workpiece. We then record the X value obtained at the maximum pointer tilt. To get the position 0 of the measured part, subtract the X1 value from the X2 value, and then divide the obtained result by 2.
