Forked cutter fi 6 R1 mm Toroidal VHM
Carbide end mill 6 R-1 Z-4 VHM 45 HRC is a solid carbide torus cutter (VHM) for machining structural and alloy steels, austenitic stainless steels and cast iron with hardness up to 45 HRC. The R 1 mm corner radius strengthens the edge, reduces stress concentration and improves resistance to chipping in continuous cutting and in light interruptions.
The fi 6 diameter and torus geometry facilitate precise contour guidance with a 1 mm radial transition. The Z-4 configuration, or four effective blades, promotes even force distribution and stable milling operations. The cutter works well in roughing and semi-finishing operations on CNC centers where dimensional repeatability, predictable chip form and controlled surface roughness are required.
