Carbide end mill 6 R-1 Z-4 VHM 45 HRC is a solid cemented carbide (VHM) corner radius end mill designed for machining structural and alloy steels, austenitic stainless steels, and cast iron with a hardness of up to 45 HRC. The corner radius R 1 mm strengthens the edge, reduces stress concentration, and improves resistance to chipping during continuous and lightly interrupted cutting.
The diameter Ø6 and corner radius geometry facilitate precise contour machining with a 1 mm radius transition. The Z-4 configuration, with four effective cutting edges, promotes even force distribution and a stable milling process. The end mill performs well in roughing and semi-finishing operations on CNC machining centers where dimensional repeatability, predictable chip shape, and controlled surface roughness are required.
