They are produced from modern high-speed steel HSS - High Speed Steel. This is a specialized tool steel characterized by very high cutting properties. Long machine taps M24x1.5 made of this steel are much more resistant to harsh working conditions than taps made of conventional tool steel. First of all, they are characterized by increased resistance of the blade to possible mechanical damage (breakage, chipping), so it is possible to significantly extend their service life.
