High-quality 3/8-24 left hand taps designed for professional machining of hard materials of P1.2 - P1.2 class (metals, unalloyed steels, non-ferrous metals, metal alloys, plastics) The UNF unified hand taps we offer are suitable for 3/8 inch threads, 24 coils per inch. The tolerance class of the threads made is 2B. Type A outline - for through-holes and blind holes. Outline triangles with an angle of 60 degrees. The machine threaders in question are produced according to DIN 2118 from modern HSS high-speed steel. It is a molybdenum steel characterized by high resistance to harsh working conditions, high hardness and durability. Thanks to it, the taps are resistant to abrasion even at temperatures reaching 600 degrees created during high-speed cutting. Taps are suitable for machining unalloyed steels, metals, nonferrous metals, metal alloys and hard thermoplastics.
