A set of 5/8-18 UNF hand taps of the well-known Polish brand Fanar. Fanar Ciechanow is appreciated all over the world for the high quality of the offered tools and their long service life. The threaders we offer are sold in a set of two. They are used for cutting unified American fine threads UNF 5/8 inch, 18 turns per inch.
They are made of HSS, whose unique parameters translate into high cutting properties. First of all, HSS threaders are resistant to possible blade damage when cutting threads in hard and hard-to-machine materials. At the same time, thanks to the special high-speed steel, it is possible to achieve high cutting performance with high precision. The accuracy class of the threads made is 2B. The thread cutters are made according to ISO 2181 and are designed for machining materials marked with the symbol P1.2 - P1.3. These include unalloyed steels, metals, non-ferrous metals, metal alloys and plastics.
