Aluminum long 3 mm VHM carbide cutter
Carbide end mill long the3 mm Z-3 VHM is a full-carbide end mill for machining aluminum alloys, copper and plastics, designed for extended overhang operations.
The 3 mm diameter, three cutting edges, 45-degree helix and polished chip grooves support clean, cool cutting of non-ferrous materials without coating. The h6 cylindrical shank conforms to DIN 6535-HA for repeatable clamping in ER sleeves, hydraulic and heat shrink toolholders. Geometry for right-hand machining with right-hand stroke reduces edge build-up. Execution according to DIN 6527 - long series - guarantees the right length of the working and overall part in HSC/HPC work.
- High performance in Al and Cu - 3 blades and 45-degree helix generate a fine chip, allowing higher feed rates while maintaining a smooth surface.
- Polished chip grooves - reduced adhesion and efficient chip flow reduce heat build-up and the risk of build-up in uncoated work.
