It is a pointed boring bar knife with a brazed insert made of S30/P30 carbide. This carbide grade makes it possible to carry out medium and coarse machining at medium and low cutting speeds and significant cross sections of the cut layer, even under very heavy cutting conditions. The 16x16 pointed boring knives for steel with S30/P30 carbide brazed insert can be used for cutting steel and steel with impurities. Among other things, their significant advantage is their high resistance to abrasion under the influence of high temperatures generated when machining at increased speeds. The blades of the knives are resistant to any mechanical damage, which increases the durability of the tools and makes it possible to extend their service life. Knives of this type can be used for blind boring and boring on conventional and CNC numerical control machine tools.
