A standard 6mm shank allows the RBF fi 16 metal rotary file to be mounted on a straight grinder or drill. For professional applications, we absolutely recommend a straight grinder with a minimum of 500 watts of power, which provides optimal speed up to twelve thousand revolutions per minute and stability for intensive work. The maximum recommended speed is 12,000 rpm for an optimal cutting speed of 600 m/min.
