Professional long threader M16x1,5 machine threader NGMf for nuts. Manufactured from modern high-speed steel HSS - High Speed Steel. Taps of this type are designed for cutting metric fine threads, type M, dimension 16x1,5. They have a 60-degree thread angle and ISO2-6H tolerance class of made threads. They are designed for machining materials of P1.2 - P1.3 class (metals, non-ferrous metals, unalloyed steels, metal alloys, hardened plastics). The properties of the HSS high-speed steel result in much higher cutting parameters than those of taps made of conventional tool steel. First of all, M16x1.5 HSS long taps are resistant to very heavy cutting conditions, which allows high-performance machining at high speeds. The tools are resistant to the high temperatures (up to 600 degrees C) created when threading at high speeds. The blades are also resistant to breaking, cracking, chipping and other mechanical damage. Taps of this type are characterized by greater hardness, toughness and abrasion resistance.
