Set of 9/16-18 inch UNF American hand taps
A set of three professional threaders for complete cutting of American UNF unified threads. These are fine threads, with an angle of 60 degrees, 9/16 inch diameter, 18 turns per inch. The accuracy class of the threads made is 2B. The tools we sell are dedicated to both individual customers and professional plants carrying out small batch or unit production.
The taps are manufactured in accordance with ISO 2181, from special HSS high-speed steel. This type of tool steel guarantees high machining performance and, at the same time, high resistance to difficult cutting conditions. In addition, high speed steel ensures that the blades of the thread cutters are resistant to possible damage when machining very hard and hard-to-machine materials. They are designed for thread cutting in workpieces made in materials classified as P1.2 - P1.3 such as unalloyed steels, metals, nonferrous metals, metal alloys and plastics
