Hand tapsM42 x4,5 HSS - high quality general purpose taps for making ordinary metric threads, type M, diameter 39, ISO DIN-13, in through-holes and blind holes. They are sold in a set of 3 pieces: a pre-tapping threader with an 8P cut, a proper threader with a 4P cut and a finishing threader with a 2P cut. Threading is carried out in three passes with successive use of the individual tools and the corresponding knob, with the total allowance of material corresponding to the cross-section of the groove divided among all the taps respectively. The tools are manufactured from modern high-speed steel HSS (High Speed Steel) according to the standard marked ISO 529. Thanks to the properties of the steel, M42 hand threaders are highly resistant to blade damage during operation, have the ability to work even in harsh conditions, and at the same time allow high precision machining. The tolerance field of the threads made 6H.
