Arbor cutter 12 2 flute for grooves

Arbor cutter 12 2 flute (double-edged NFPg) for keyway grooves. A modern NFPg burr with a nominal diameter of 12 mm. It is colloquially known as a finger cutter, designed for making keyway grooves. It is a cutter characterized by increased hardness and resistance to potential mechanical damage. It is suitable for roughing and medium fine machining of hard alloy and non-alloy steels, metals, copper, aluminum, metal alloys, gray iron, ductile iron, malleable iron.

It has 2 center blades that allow vertical penetration into the workpiece. The 12 2 flute burr is best suited for coarse to medium fine milling. NFPg burrs in the offer of our store are produced from modern HSS high-speed steel, thanks to which they are distinguished by improved cutting parameters. They are harder than milling cutters made of conventional tool steel, as well as more resistant to high temperatures - up to 600 degrees C.
