Carbide insert DNMG 150608 PM lathe, multi-sharpness, manufactured by the world-famous and respected Swedish company Sandvik. It is a D-shaped, diamond-shaped insert with a 55-degree angle, with a hole and a double-sided chipbreaker. It is designed for professional turning of materials with increased hardness. It is made of a special grade of tungsten carbide 4025, a grade distinguished by its technical parameters. Its greatest advantage is above-average resistance to very severe cutting conditions, including high temperatures reaching up to 700 - 1000 degrees C. It is suitable for professional high-performance cutting of steel parts. It is very hard, resembling diamond in this respect. Carbide multi-cutting inserts in the offer of our store are produced by the multi-layer method. It involves the application of successive layers of material. This guarantees high hardness, but at the same time above-average resistance to any mechanical damage.
