It is a knife made according to the latest production technologies from specialized SW7 high-speed steel. It is a tungsten steel characterized by high strength and good cutting properties. This is the result of a balanced composition of alloying additives affecting the steel's improved properties, including its heat resistance and abrasion resistance under high temperatures. NNZd lathe knives made of SW7 steel are suitable for high-performance machining at increased speeds, resulting in shorter working time and better utilization of the workstations. The knives are recommended for single and multi-batch machining on various types of conventional and CNC computer-controlled machine tools.
