Turning tool straight 12x12 right HSS

High quality turning tool straight NNZa for longitudinal turning of parts made of hard unalloyed steels, metals, aluminum, copper, metal alloys and heat-hardening plastics. It is a right-handed straight cutter for unit and small batch work, made in accordance with the ISO 1 dimensional standard. It is produced from special SW 18 high-speed steel, which is a modern tungsten steel with increased hardness and durability. It retains its shape and hardness at temperatures up to 600 degrees. Its balanced composition of alloying additives contributes to increased wear resistance and enhanced heat resistance. NNZa lathe knives made of SW 18 steel are suitable for machining hard unalloyed steels, metals, nonferrous metals, metal alloys and others. They are recommended for conventional machine tools (milling machines, lathes) as well as modern CNC (computerized numerical control) machines.
