Pointed boring bar 25x25 for steel
Turning tool -NNWb pointed boring bar, size 25x25. It is a knife with a carbide brazed insert type S20/P20. Made in accordance with DIN 4974, ISO 9, the pointed boring bar is designed for blind boring and undercutting. The type of carbide inserts used makes it possible to realize machining of very hard and hard-to-machine materials even under very severe conditions. Knives of this type are suitable for machining steel, cast steel and malleable iron. They can be used for fine and medium precision cutting of steel and cast steel at sufficiently high cutting speeds and moderate feeds. The knives are characterized by increased hardness and durability, as well as resistance to abrasion under high temperatures. This makes it possible to perform high-performance machining at high speeds. Their increased durability contributes to extended service life and thus lower labor costs. The knives are suitable for conventional and numerical machine tools.
